Ir. Arif Basuki, Ph.D is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. He received a BS degree (1986) from ITB, Bandung – Indonesia, and both MS (1994) and Ph.D. (2000) from the Katholiek Universiteit Leuven, Leuven – Belgium.
Dr. Basuki’s research interests are primarily in the areas of metallurgy of light alloy, impact & ballistic resistant steel, and solidification & thermomechanical processing.
